Losing someone you love is a devastating thing to happen to you. Even thinking about losing someone I love and how it would feel gets me teary eyed. How much worse such a loss must be when it is a direct result of someone’s malevolence? Losing someone in a violent crime adds a different level of anger to an already tragic experience. If that level of emotional turmoil wasn’t enough, some of these crimes go unpunished. On top of every other emotion felt, frustration at the injustice is layered on top of it.

To some, this injustice is too bad to bear. They will do anything if it means catching the perpetrators, from wearing a wire to betraying family trust. Extreme Measures is a show that explores these stories, from what happened to how it was solved with the help of those daring enough to do the extreme.
