How much are the monthly subscription costs?

Our packages range from R99 per month to R199 per month depending on your choice of package. Package processes are subject to change. View our full package offering.

How much does the StarSat decoder cost?

The StarSat HD decoder costs R599.00 this price includes the satellite dish, decoder and installation. StarSat pays the installer a set amount – should there be any additional costs incurred this will be between the customer and the installer. Decoder price is subject to change.

You can pay your subscription at any Standard Bank or ABSA branch. Complete a deposit slip or the M65 printed on your monthly statement and make a payment directly at any of the Standard Bank or Absa branches. How do I pay my subscription via Internet Banking?

StarSat is moving with the times, allowing the flexibility of paying your account through Internet banking via EFT. So now you can set up a recurring Internet payment via your personal bank account to StarSat.

On Standard Bank Internet Banking or ABSA Internet Banking: Select StarSat from the list of pre-approved beneficiaries on your bank’s Internet banking website, and use your StarSat Account Number as the payment / beneficiary reference.

How do I pay my subscription via Debit Order?

Call the StarSat Call Centre (086 086 STAR / 7827) and we will automatically deduct the amount due for payment from your bank account every month on any of the listed dates available.. (25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 or 1st of the month).

How many upgrades or downgrades am I allowed per month?

There is no limit to the number of upgrades per month, however an upgrade is only permitted if customer has zero balance. Downgrades need to be scheduled for the 1st of the following month.
