Life in post-colonial Ghana is complicated, especially for a biracial, bisexual bridal gown designer who hates weddings. Ebaner Temple is a powerful woman who has closets full of skeletons and who does not shy away from making enemies in her quest to get her way. She has to navigate some very tricky waters in her life trying to be successful in business and in life while coping with being a single woman in her 40s.
