Disgraced Army Officer is Their Only Hope

Leng Feng has always been the type of guy who didn’t let rules get in the way of dealing out justice. This can be a very useful trait in combat but in civilian life not so much. After a scuffle broke between him and a business man the subsequent scuffle led to his dishonourable discharge and imprisonment for two years.

Feng’s skills don’t make him very suitable to everyday life so the moment he got out he started doing mercenary work in Africa. A party on the beach after he and his friends successfully defended a civilian vessel from pirates ends in a sour mood when they are attacked by a rebel force who aim to take down the government.

Feng is unofficially asked by the Chinese forces to rescue some Chinese civilians who didn’t get a chance to escape during the evacuations. Thus, he heads straight into enemy territory without any back-up with nothing but a few weapons and his killer instincts to help him.

This is a pure action film from start to finish, and commercially speaking a really good one at that. Overall, it earned more money in the box office than Star Wars: The Force Awakens. If that got your attention and you’re a fan of all-out action then this film will be a real treat for you.
