This Saturday, December 17, StarSat brings heavyweight action from Russia between Alexander Povetkin and Bermane Stiverne for the WBC interim title at 15:55 on Sports Arena (channel 241). The winner will have an opportunity to face champion Wilder for the world title.
The fight between Stiverne and Povetkin is an intriguing one as both fighters are looking to get back to the top after having previously lost world championship fights.
Povetkin suffered his only career loss (30 wins) at the hands of Wladimir Klitschko in 2013.

He will be confident buy valacyclovir generic going into Saturday as he will be fighting in front of his home crowd.
Stiverne lost to Wilder in 2015 and he will want another crack at the champion as reports came out after the fight that he was suffering from an illness during the bout.
This fight is likely to be a career defining moment for the two fighters. They are both in their late 30s and defeat for either man could be the end of any title hopes.
Povetkin, however, is a former world champion and his experience at the top could help him.
Stiverne, however, is the bigger puncher with 21 knockouts in his 25 wins.
Will Povetkin’s experience pull him through to another title challenge? Or will Stiverne’s power book him a rematch against Wilder? Find out live on Sports Arena (241) on StarSat, Saturday at 15:55.
