Bundesliga clubs in Florida Cup

The Bundesliga might be on a winter break but the clubs will stay busy!

Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Wolfsburg will take on clubs from USA, Brazil and Argentina in the Florida Cup. Tournament kicks off on Saturday, January 8 with Leverkusen taking on Argentina’s Club Estudiantes de la Plata in the first match at 9pm on Sports Focus, channel 240.

Although Leverkusen has not had the best start to the 2016/2017 season, they are currently ninth in the Bundesliga, star players such as Javier “Chicarito” Hernandez and Karim Bellarabi will want to get into top form for the second half of the season.

Estudiantes is currently fourth in the Argentine Primera Division. The six times national champions will provide a test for the Germans with the likes of midfielder Carlos Auzqui and the young exciting Santiago Ascacibar.

That match will be followed by USA’s Tampa Bay Rowdies valtrex taking on Wolfsburg, on Sports Focus (channel 240) at 23:35.
Leverkusen will then go against Brazil’s Atletico Mineiro on January 11 at 2pm, on Sports Focus.

Mineiro, which is the former club of the legendary Ronaldinho, will provide a stiff test for the German side. Former Brazil international superstars Robinho and Fred can be more than a handful for any defence in the world. Leverkusen defenders will have to be at the top of their game to keep them out.

Wolfsburg faces Esporte Clube Bahia the next day, January 12, at 2pm on Sports Focus. Bahia will rely on defender Jackson and striker Hernane.
