Dinner at Tiffani’s

Tiffani Amber Thiessen is an old star best known for her roles as Kelly Kapowski, on Saved by the Bell, the beautiful cheerleader who everyone had a crush on. The show was a great hit and was broadcast in more than 30 countries and aired in syndication on multiple television networks in and outside of the US. Another iconic show she acted in was 90210, where she played Valerie Malone, a troubled teen who liked to play innocent in front of the boys but has a deceptive and manipulative side.

Because of the show’s success, Tiffani knows an awful lot of people, half of whom are celebrities. In this show she invites celebs over and cooks for them, doing the whole cooking show thing going through everything step by step. Each dinner has a theme to it to keep it interesting. She also throws in a good tip every now and then. Each celeb is properly introduced so that those of us who aren’t clued up on celebrity identities can also be a bit star-struck.

The guests help out every now and then so it doesn’t just look like two people staring at someone cooking. There’s a lot of “oohs” and “ahs”, “yays”, “amazings” and “that’s so prettys” because in essence, this is still a cooking show and not a talk show. After dishing up the cast do have a more natural conversation which is interesting to listen too if you’re into show-business stories. At the end of the episodes, the stars critique the dishes so that you’re certain how amazing everything tastes. The show doesn’t take itself too seriously though because you can see some of the bloopers in the credits.

Some of the stars you’ll get to see include Jason Priestly (Brandon Walsh, Beverly Hills, 90210); Seth Green (executive producer and most frequent voice, Robot Chicken); Lance Bass (Kevin, On The Line) and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano, Saved by the Bell). Try to contain your excitement.
