How much do the monthly subscriptions cost?

Our value-for-money package is the Super Package. For R209 per month, you get all the channels in the Special Package plus 23 additional, top-tier channels to boot.

Our premium, top-of-the-line Max Package includes every channel in the Special and Super Packages plus over 60 additional language-specific channels, all for only R299 per month.

Indian Package rectangle short

For our Indian viewers, we’ve created an add-on package for them to enjoy six Indian-language channels as an add-on package for a small additional price of R109 per month.

We partnered with the Shembe Channel to bring you all the channels of the Special Package plus their channel for only R129 per month.

How much does the StarSat decoder cost?

*Free installation counts for residential homes. If you want to install StarSat in a security estate or on business premises that has it’s own process and costs. Call us on 011 582 9988 and we’ll sort you out.

How much does the installation cost?

If you buy the SAT 3 Decoder then the installation is free, but only if you don’t live in a security estate or want it for a business. Those installations have their own process and cost involved. Call us on 011 582 9988 for more information.

How do I pay my StarSat subscription?

There are many ways to pay your StarSat subscription:

 

  1. Debit order (recommended)
  2. EFT
  3. Direct deposit at a Standard Bank ATM
  4. Credit card
  5. Store-bought voucher
  6. EasyPay outlet
  7. Telephonically to a CEC

 

Please note that debit orders, EFTs and Direct deposits only reflect 24-72 hours later. To avoid accidental disconnection please make your payment a few days in advance of the 1st of every month.

How do I pay my subscription via debit order?

This is by far the simplest and easiest way to pay your subscription and not have to worry about sudden disruptions. All you have to do is have your banking details ready and call us on 011 582 9988 so that we can set up a debit order for you. Possible debit order dates are the 15th, between the 25th and the 30th, or on the 1st of every month.

How do I pay at an EasyPay outlet?

Designed for your convenience, you can pay your account at any EasyPay outlet nationwide.

 

EasyPay only accepts your EasyPay Reference Number as a payment reference, so please ensure that you have these details with you when making the payment. If you need your reference number, call our friendly StarSat support team on 011 582 9988 and we will supply you with it. Your EasyPay reference number reflects on the back of your monthly statement if you pay via Debit Order.

 

EasyPay reflects immediately on your account at selected stores only. To be safe, pay your account at least 4 days before the 1st of the following month to prevent potential cancellations.

How do I pay my subscription via a direct deposit?

You can pay your subscription at any Standard Bank branch. Complete a deposit slip or the M65 printed on your monthly statement and make a payment directly at any Standard Bank branches. Here are our banking details:

How many upgrades or downgrades am I allowed per month?

There are no set limits to the number of times you can upgrade every month. For downgrades, your account needs to be on a zero-balance and needs to be scheduled for the 1st of the following month. Your choice of payment type can influence how much time you have to downgrade so please call us on 011 582 9988 if you have any questions.
