Huck-Briedis to provide fireworks

Boxing fans are in for a treat this weekend!

Action from the impressive cruiserweight division takes centre stage as Marco Huck takes on the big hitting Mairis Briedis in Dortmund, Germany.

The fight was originally for just the International Boxing Organization (IBO) cruiserweight title but after World Boxing Council champion Tony Bellew vacated his championship their highly-regarded WBC belt is also on the line.

Huck is a former WBO champion who had held on to the title for six years as he dominated the division. He lost his championship to Krzysztof Glowacki in 2015.

Many thought he had reached the end of the line as a fighter but he has shown that he still has plenty of fight in him. He has come valtrex online 1000mg back to register wins over Ola Afolabi and Dmytro Kucher to get himself back into the championship picture.

He comes in to the fight as the more experienced fighter (40-3-1) and he will have to use all that knowledge against Breidis.

The big punching Briedis is undefeated, 21-0 (18 knockouts), and will come in to the fight as the favourite on Saturday, April 1, night.

The fight will be broadcast live on channel 241 (ST Sports Arena) at 20:50.

Can the experienced Huck give Briedis his first loss? Or will Briedis continue on the rampage as he aims to rule the cruiserweight division?
