Mamelodi Sundowns to take on the world

In case you missed it Mamelodi Sundowns are the Champions of Africa! The Brazilians beat Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate to become the second South African team to lift the CAF Champions League trophy.

The victory means Masandawana will be the African representative at the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan. It will be the first time a South African team plays in the tournament. The tournament will be played from December 8 to 18th, 2016, and all matches will be live and exclusive on StarSat.

The tournament has seen African teams such as TP Mazembe and Raja Casablanca make it all the way to the finals. Can Pitso Mosimane’s all-conquering side match or even do better than those teams?

Sundowns will play their first match on December 11against the winner of the match valtrex 1g between the J-League champions and Auckland City, and will be going out to make a mark in the tournament.

Star attacking player Khama Billiat has previously stated that he would like to go against world superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo. There is a chance that the dream could become a reality.

If Sundowns wins all their matches and European champions Real Madrid win theirs the two sides could meet in the final.

Can Billiat face Ronaldo in Japan? Can Masandawana rewrite history by becoming the first African side to be crowned world champions?
