Neymar to scare more defenders

One of the most daunting tasks for any defender in the world is facing Brazilian superstar Neymar. The Brazilian superstar has amazing talent and in just two matches for his new team Paris Saint-Germain he is showing that the 222 million euros paid for him is money well-spent. The attacker has scored three goals in his first two matches for PSG.

His performance against Toulouse in his last match left fans mesmerised as he destroyed the defence in a 6-2 win. His second goal was beautiful. He took on three defenders with the kind of control that left one thinking he must have been born with the ball at his feet and slotted ball into the back of the net.

Saying PSG was a top team without Neymar is an underestimate. Now they are looking scary and if rumours are to be believed it could get worse for opponents.

Les Parisiens are reportedly close to signing teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe. The 18-year-old has been a topic of discussion throughout the transfer window with a number of Europe’s top clubs reportedly chasing his signature.

PSG has had the perfect start to the Ligue 1 season, winning all three of their matches so far. Only Monaco and St Etienne have also had the perfect start.

But as they say in boxing “somebody’s o has got to go” when PSG hosts St Etienne on Friday, August 25. The match will be live and exclusive on channel 248 (Fox Sports Africa) at 20:30.

Champions Monaco faces Marseille on Sunday.
