It’s hard to visit family face-to-face these days with travel being so easy and work being so scarce. Cristina found a job a few years ago on the outskirts of the San Cristóbal Tlaxico village as a floor manager for a hotel, and her brother Julio decided to pay her a visit.

Shortly after arriving, however, Julio found out that her sister had been fired a month ago for stealing from the company, something Cristina didn’t bother to mention. Weirdly, the staff at the hotel didn’t seem to have any recollection of her.

Having found out that his sister was missing, and not wanting to waste the trip, he decided to get a job as a waiter at the restaurant and find out what was going on.
