Let these four stories be a celebration and a tribute to the 20,000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 in protest against the extension of Apatheid Pass laws. Women should be celebrated every day, not to honour the iconic women who have changed history, but to encourage new generations to dream big and know that anything is possible.
