21 Feb The Walking Dead (Season 10)
It’s been a long time since the start of the zombie apocalypse and after surviving for a surprising amount of time some order has been established in the form of survival camps by the few who’ve survived till now. Unfortunately, despite having done a pretty decent job of killing zombies (all things considered) the zombies are still a major threat, so free travel between camps isn’t very easy.
Unfortunately, as any good psychologist will point out, cramped and isolated living arrangements aren’t too good for the psyche, especially after having to survive such traumatic events. Add to that the ambitions of a few would-be tyrants and you have a recipe for deadly political intrigue.
In the last season, Rick disappeared, and many of the characters seem to become strangers not only to each other but also to themselves. As if trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland whilst caught between warring factions wasn’t enough to deal with, the Whisperers make themselves known.
This faction is a group of survivors who figured that zombies don’t really mess with each other, so they take the skin off of dead zombies and wear them as bodysuits. A very effective and probably rather smelly survival strategy that would make Bear Grylls proud. Unfortunately, the leader of this faction, appropriately named Alpha, is a bit messed up and more than a little ruthless, as one would likely have to be to start skinning corpses.
Premiering on the 24th of February.
Mondays at 10:45 p.m. on FOX (ch 131)
