Anything that can out-swim a human which has sharp teeth and a known history for attacking people will be scary. Add to that a few terrible movies and sharks have become some of the most feared creatures on the planet.
Worldwide there has been a rise in shark attacks, which is strange considering that we don’t form part of their usual prey. Do we really look like seals? Is it simple curiosity? Do they feel like a small snack before dinner? This series breaks down the stories of shark attack survivors and uses scientific discoveries of these misunderstood creatures so that we can better prevent such situations in the future and better handle these situations if we find ourselves in them.
