Zalmi take an early lead

The Pakistan Super League is well underway and the five teams are looking to dominate.

Peshawar Zalmi has taken an early lead after winning two out of their first three matches.

After losing the tournament opener to Islamabad United, Zalmi bounced back to beat the Karachi Kings and the Lahore Qalandars. Their bowlers have not given too much away and have been extremely economical.

They restricted the Kings to just 118/7 in 20 overs and bowled the Qalandars out for 59.

The Zalmi, however, only lead by net run rate and second-placed Quetta Gladiators have played one match less. The Gladiators are also undefeated.

South African batsman Rilee Rossouw has been in great form with the bat for the Gladiators. He scored 60 in his team’s buy valtrex online usa eight-run victory over the Qalandars. He then hit an unbeaten 76 as the Gladiators beat the Kings by seven wickets.

The Qalandars are third on the log after losing two matches and only winning against the defending champions Islamabad United. United are fourth.

The Karachi Kings are stacked with talent but they are yet to register a win in the tournament. They are last after two matches.

They face the Qalandars next on Thursday, February 16. This is a day after United and Gladiators square off.
